*fraudulent text message claiming to be from the Vicar*
Dear good people of St. Joe’s - you may have received a text message from an 828 number claiming to be from Vicar Lauren, stating that she needs help and needs you to get in touch with her. This text was not in fact sent by Vicar Lauren - sadly, it is an all too common fraud-strategy to impersonate a church pastor and contact congregants asking for help or money.
Any official communication from St. Joe’s will come via this Substack/Dispatch list. And if Vicar Lauren ever needs your help, she will call you!
